Cortlandt Manor's Fieldhome Honors Former VP Horne, Employees At Ceremony

Fieldhome, a center for adult healthcare and services, honored former vice president Field Horne and 31 of its employees and trustees at a June 18 ceremony at the facility located at 2300 Catherine St., Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. Horne joined Field Home in 1989, replacing his father Harold Horne on the Holy Comforter's Board. He dedicated 25 years as Fieldhome vice president and treasurer of the Catharine Field Home Board.

Letter: Stop The Kelly Miller Circus From Running In Verplanck

It is tremendously disappointing to see that the Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor is hosting a live-animal circus in Verplanck on June 16th and 17th. For an organization whose mission is rooted in service and ethics, it seems to be exceptionally contradictory that they would participate in a practice that is so widely considered to be barbaric and outdated.

Arraignment in Hit-and-Run Death of Cortlandt Man

MIchael Longo was arraigned today in state Supreme Court in the death of Cortlandt Manor resident Daniel Cabrera in a hit-and-run crash Feb. 23, 2015 in Manhattan. Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson announced that Longo, 58, pled not guilty in Bronx Supreme Court to the charge of Leaving the Scene of an Incident Without Reporting, a Class D Felony.
