A 40-year-old Cortlandt man is facing charges after state police say he stole a vehicle from a dealership in Ulster County. The vehicle was located at Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor on March 15 which was determined to have been stolen from the dealership.

Montrose Church Celebrating 300th Anniversary

The Reformed Church of Cortlandtown in Montrose is having a candlelight service on April 21 at 7 p.m., an Anniversary Workshop Service on April 23 at 10 a.m. and a Tricentennial Music Festival on May 7 at 3 p.m. The church's documented history dates back to April 21, 1717, when a list of communicants was recorded as constituting the Dutch Reformed congregation of Van Cortlandt Manor. The church was constructed on Montrose Point but burned down during the Civil War and a new church was constructed on the current Albany Post Road site.

A 27-year-old Cortlandt Manor resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated Thursday following a one-car accident on Route 202. Zeynep Canpolat was traveling on the westbound side of Route 202 when he drove off the roadway and struck a guardrail, then back onto the roadway across all lanes of traffic, ending up off the roadway on the eastbound side of 2012.
