YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. Paul E. Cahan, a 69-year-old Cortlandt Manor resident, has been charged with resisting arrest and petit larceny after he was accused of stealing from a Toys 'R' Us by the Yorktown police department on Sunday, Oct. 5. Police say an officer responded to the store on Bank Road to investigate a shoplifting complaint. While enroute to the store, the defendant was identified and seen walking along Route 6 near the store, according to police.
