NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital/Bronxville and NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley in Cortlandt Manor will be hosting women's heart health events this month. NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital/Bronxville is hosting an event in honor of national Go Red for Women Day on Friday, Feb. 5. "There are still a lot of misconceptions about the prevalence of heart disease among women, and the differences between men and women when it comes to symptoms of heart attack," said Mark Apfelbaum, M.D., cardiologist and Director of NYP/Lawrence Hospital's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
