The Lincoln Society in Peekskill recently presented the Lincoln Legacy Award to James McPherson, professor emeritus of U.S. History at Princeton University. McPherson was the featured speaker at the Lincoln Society's annual Presidential Banquet at Cortlandt Manor's Hollow Brook Golf Club.
